28일 구미시에 따르면 민간 빅데이터 분석 결과 관외 관광객의 비율이 20%에 달해 전국적인 관심을 받았으며, 축제 기간 동안 소비 금액도 전주 대비 73.46% 증가해 지역 경제에 큰 활력을 불어넣은 것으로 분석됐다.
축제 첫날은 8만 8천 명, 둘째 날은 6만 2천 명이 방문해 다양한 세대가 즐겼다. 특히, 40대의 참여율이 18.78%로 가장 높았고, 30대와 20대가 뒤를 이어 전 세대가 함께 즐기는 축제로 자리 잡았다.

보고회에서는 현장평가단의 의견과 매출액, 메뉴 특별성 등을 종합 평가하여 선정한 ‘2024 구미푸드페스티벌 맛슐랭’ 최고 음식점 및 메뉴도 발표했다.
최고의 음식점으로는 ‘이수제철판왕돈가스’가 선정됐고, 최고의 메뉴에는 복어튀김(복터진집), 무떡복이(봉황국수식당), 아임봄버거(아임봄)가 뽑혔다.
김장호 구미시장은 “송정맛길에서 열린 제3회 구미푸드페스티벌이 지역을 대표하는 먹거리 축제로 자리 잡았다”며 “내년에는 더욱 발전된 콘텐츠로 전국에서 더 많은 방문객을 맞이해 '구미 맛'을 널리 알리는 축제가 되도록 준비하겠다”고 했다.
한편, 올해로 3회째를 맞은 구미푸드페스티벌은 ‘삼겹굽굽존’과 유명 셰프 정호영이 참여한 ‘구미미식존’, 60여 개의 대표 메뉴를 선보인 ‘냠냠쇼케이스’ 등 다채로운 프로그램으로 관람객의 큰 호응을 얻었다.
