[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 26일부터 27일까지 이틀간 성산아트홀 중앙광장에서 ‘2024 창원 북 페스타’를 성황리에 개최했다고 밝혔다.
홍남표 창원특례시장, 김종양 국회의원, 허성무 국회의원을 비롯한 도·시의원 및 시민이 참여한 개막식에는 지난 5개월간 추진한 2024 창원의 책 독후감 전국 공모전 및 독서릴레이 우수자 시상식도 같이 진행했다.
공공도서관, 작은도서관, 평생학습센터, 문학관, 지역 서점 등 28개 독서 유관기관이 참여한 독서체험부스와 독서골든벨, 마술 및 음악공연을 운영하여 가족 단위 시민들에게 즐거움을 선사했다. 이외에도 창원책방, 동화책방으로 이루어진 테마존과 2024 창원의 책으로 꾸며진 미로북팝업, 자이언트플라워로 만든 포토존은 큰 호응을 얻었다.
홍남표 창원시장은 “창원시의 최대 독서문화 축제인 북 페스타를 통해 책 읽는 즐거움을 나누고 책과 함께하는 행복한 창원특례시를 만들고자 더욱 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
