【충북 브레이크뉴스】김봉수 기자= 지난 11일부터 17일까지 7일간 경상남도 김해시 일원에서 개최된 제105회 전국체육대회에 출전한 진천군 선수단이 금 1, 은 6, 동 5 등 총 12개의 메달로 역대 최다메달을 획득하는 쾌거를 올렸다.
진천군 선수단은 육상, 태권도, 궁도, 족구, 철인 3종, 카누, 합기도 등 총 7종목, 36명의 선수가 충북 대표로 출전했다.
이번 대회에서 진천군청 육상 실업팀 소속인 서지현(30, 사진) 선수는 여자 일반부 100m에서 11초 95의 성적으로 2위 선수를 0.04초 차로 제치며 금메달을 획득해 지난 2022년에 이어 2년 만에 다시 왕좌를 탈환했다.
서 선수는 여자 일반부 200m에서도 24초 24라는 개인 신기록으로 2위에 올랐고, 단체전 계주에서도 동메달을 차지하며 이번 대회에서 금메달, 은메달, 동메달을 각각 1개씩 따내는 뛰어난 실력을 발휘했다.
