브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 불법 촬영 혐의로 재판에 넘겨진 국가대표 출신 축구선수 황의조(32)에게 검찰이 징역형을 구형했다. 그동안 혐의를 부인해오던 황의조는 첫 재판에서 모든 혐의를 인정했다.
서울중앙지법 형사13단독 이용제 판사는 16일 성폭력범죄의 처벌 등에 관한 특례법 위반(카메라 등 이용촬영) 혐의로 기소된 황의조의 1차 공판기일을 진행했다.
이날 황의조의 변호인은 혐의를 인정했고, 재판부가 재차 확인하자 검은 정장 차림으로 재판에 출석한 황의조는 직접 “맞다”고 답했다.
황의조 불법 촬영의 피해자는 2명이다. 피해자 A씨는 큰 금액의 합의금을 지급받고 처벌 불원 의사를 표시한 것으로 알려졌고, 또 다른 피해자 B씨는 합의 의사가 없으며 엄벌을 탄원하고 있다.
검찰은 “피고인이 진심으로 마음에서 우러나오는 반성을 하고 있는지 의문”이라며 징역 4년을 구형했다. 또한 성폭력 치료 프로그램 이수 명령과 신상정보 공개 및 고지 명령, 5년간의 취업제한 명령도 부과해 달라고 요청했다.

황의조는 최후진술을 통해 “저를 아껴주고 응원해준 모든 분들에게도 실망을 끼쳐드린 점 깊이 사죄드린다”며 “피해회복을 위해 최선을 다하겠다. 이번 일을 거울삼아 앞으로는 어떤 잘못도 하지 않고 축구선수로서 최선의 노력하며 살도록 하겠다”며 선처를 호소했다.
황의조에 대한 선고기일은 오는 12월 18일 오전 10시로 지정됐다.
재판 직후 피해자 B씨 측 이은의 변호사는 기자회견을 열고 “법정에 와서야 선처 구하는 자백, 반성을 한다는 게 진정한 자백 반성이 맞냐”고 지적하며 합의 의사는 없다고 강조했다.
한편, 황의조는 지난 2022년 피해자 2명에 대해 동의 없이 여러 차례에 걸쳐 성관계 영상을 촬영하거나, 영상통화를 녹화한 혐의를 받는다. 앞서 지난해 6월 자신을 황의조 전 연인으로 주장한 한 네티즌은 SNS를 통해 해당 사진과 영상을 유포했고, 황의조 측은 유포자를 협박 등 혐의로 고소했다.
하지만 경찰의 수사 결과, 해당 유포자는 황의조의 매니저 역할을 했던 형수 이모 씨로 드러났다. 경찰은 해당 영상과 사진을 불법촬영물로 판단하고 황의조도 피의자로 입건했다. 황의조의 형수 이모 씨는 사생활을 유포하고 협박 혐의 등으로 재판에 넘겨져 지난달 대법원에서 징역 3년을 확정받았다.
