【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=충북 영동군 농업기술센터 직원 20여명은 지난 3일 관내 자두농가를 찾아 일손 돕기에 나섰다.
해당 농가주는 최근 과원 작업 중 심한 두통과 어지러움으로 병원에 이송돼 뇌출혈로 진단받고 병원에서 수술 후 회복 중이다.
해당 농업인은 “병원에 입원해 있어 손을 쓰지 못하고 있어 걱정이 많았다”며 “농업기술센터 직원들이 열심히 도와줘 시름을 덜었다”고 감사의 말을 전했다.
한편 직원들은 농가에 부담을 주지 않는 실질적인 일손 돕기가 되고자 작업에 필요한 도구 등을 직접 준비했다.
농업기술센터 관계자는 “어려움을 겪게 된 농가에 조금이나마 도움을 드릴 수 있어서 뜻깊은 시간이었다”고 말했다.
