Gyeongju Expo Grand Park announced on the 28th that Solgeo Museum of Art will operate a social contribution program ‘Regional Grassroots Artist Education’ for prospective artists in the region.

Through this program, we plan to provide free education on careers and experiences related to culture and art to students who are nurturing their dreams of becoming visual artists in Gyeongsangbuk-do.

The ‘Regional Grassroots Artist Education’ program is scheduled to be operated at all times from July, and is divided into an exhibition commentary program and an educational program. The target audience is high school art majors and club students in Gyeongsangbuk-do who wish to enter an art college.

‘Listen to the Art Museum’, an exhibition commentary program, is a docent program that provides a colorful guide to the current exhibitions and the history and architecture of the Solgeo Art Museum, as well as the art world of Sosan Park Dae-seong, the owner of the collection.

The educational program 'Dreaming Museum of Art' is conducted by a curator at the museum's archive room and Solger Academy to help students gain an understanding of career paths and exhibition institutions, such as △understanding the shape and characteristics of various exhibition institutions such as art galleries and galleries, △understanding the career path of each university major. Education is provided by content.

Student clubs or schools wishing to participate in the program can download the application form from the library on the website of the Solgeo Museum of Art and send it to solgeo@cexpo.or.kr. The number of applicants is a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 30 (excluding the instructor), and the application period is available at any time after July 4th.

Participation in the program is free, and for more information, please contact the Solgeo Museum of Art.
