브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 배우 지수 측이 학교폭력(학폭)과 성폭력 논란에 대해 추가 입장을 밝혔다. 특히 지수 측은 성폭력 논란과 관련해 “명백한 사실무근”이라고 강조했다.
5일 지수의 소속사 키이스트 측은 공식입장을 내고 “지수의 학폭 문제로 많은 분들께 불편과 심려를 끼쳐 드린 점 깊이 사과드린다”며 “당사는 지수의 학교 폭력에 관련한 게시글들에 대해 사실 관계 파악을 우선에 두고 이를 확인하고자 했다. 가장 먼저 지수 본인에게 사실 관계를 확인했으나, 배우 본인이 인지하고 있는 부분도 있고 과장되거나 왜곡돼 보이는 부분들이 혼재하였기에 시간을 들여 명확한 사실 관계를 확인하고자 했다”고 밝혔다.
이어 “그러나 피해를 입은 분들에게 또 다른 피해를 입힐까 염려되기도 했고, 진실공방 과정에서 논란이 이어져 드라마 쪽에 더 이상의 피해를 주는 것을 배우 본인이 원치 않았기에, 책임감을 가지고 아무런 전제없이 조속히 사과드린 점 헤아려 주시면 감사하겠다”고 전했다.
또 “다만, 항간에 나도는 위압을 동원한 성폭력과 같은 주장들은 명백한 사실무근이다. 이와 관련 사실 확인이 되지 않은 상태에서 일방적인 주장에 대한 확대 해석 및 추측성 기사에 대해 자제를 간곡히 부탁드린다”며 “지수 본인 및 당사는 앞으로도 제보 이메일 접수, 온라인 커뮤니티 모니터링 등 다각도로 본 사안을 해결하기 위해 노력해 나갈 것이다”고 알렸다.
마지막으로 “엄중한 사안인 만큼 지수는 배우로서 계획된 모든 활동을 즉각 중단하고 통렬한 반성의 시간을 가질 것이다. 다시 한번, 많은 분들께 심려를 끼쳐드려 죄송하다”고 덧붙였다.
