I am a farmer. The appearance of the writer carrying the paper.

*Title = Life is running alone like a marathon? No, life is a relay!

*['The Story of My Life's Golden Time' by Publisher Moon Il-suk]'The trajectory of life' from farmers to high-tech Internet newspaper publishers

-Written by/Ilsuk Moon, Publisher

It is said that everyone has a golden time. Was there really a golden hour in my life? i ask me well However, there were times when it was frustrating. Golden time refers to the time period with the highest listening and viewership ratings on radio and television, so there will be times when you criticize it and install it. This article is written according to the proposition that I have made a point of reference, namely, “▲The wisest person mourns wasted time the most. ▲Unhappiness in childhood is the power that gives birth to great people. ▲ This article begins with the premise that life is like running alone like a marathon.

I come from a boarder-boarder. Homer-boarder is a word that doesn't even appear in the dictionary. I must have been good at writing since I was young, so I got a job at a monthly magazine in the military. He was discharged from the military and entered Seoul with 3,000 won that his mother gave him. He was penniless and like an orphan. So, I spread the military sleeping bag I bought at Namdaemun Market on the desk, got into it, and slept on the desk. That's why I'm a sleepy person (a person who sleeps on top of a desk). But one day he fell off the desk while sleeping. So he ended up sleeping under the desk. This is the boarder (the one who sleeps under the desk).

In the early 1980s, he pioneered a new job called a reporter (report-report + writer-writer). It was a job that was not common in Korea. It was like a freelance journalist. At the time, he graduated from Damyang Middle School - Damyang Vocational High School (Agricultural High School) - Gangnam University, which were socially non-mainstream schools, and had little personal or academic background. He first started his contribution to Sunday Seoul, a weekly magazine affiliated with the Seoul Shinmun. The title of his serial series is 'Human Market It was an article written by infiltrating the human-manpower market where people are bought and sold. He carried around a lunch box halfway full of barley rice and covered it undercover. The Human Market series, which was serialized in Sunday Seoul, was published as a book titled 'Exotic Zone' and became a bestseller. With the royalties from this book, I was able to buy a house.

From 1980 to the end of 1984, I was able to contribute to more than 70 media outlets, including Sunday Seoul, Women's JoongAng, Women's Donga, Lady Kyunghyang, Deep Water, Monthly Chosun, and Jeonggyeong Culture. At the end of one year, at the end of the year, statistics on the ranking of writers contributed to monthly magazines were published, and Yonsei University professor Kim Dong-gil ranked first, and the writer ranked second. Dr. Gong Byung-woo invented and manufactured Hangeul typewriter and pressed the keyboard until his fingers hurt. It was a great leap forward from a country boy-a commoner.

I am from Damyang, South Jeolla Province. At the time of May 18, 1980, he was a reporter for a weekly newspaper. At that time, the Media Censorship Division of the Lost Martial Law Office was located on the first floor of Seoul City Hall. The media censorship unit, which was completely controlled by the military, controlled all articles related to the Gwangju Democratization Movement from being reported. Since then, I've collected nasty photos related to the Gwangju Democratization Movement. From 1985 to 1989, he worked as a reporter for 'segaetimes' (deputy editor-in-chief of the last book) published in Manhattan, New York, USA. At this time, it was possible to report the reality of tyranny related to the Gwangju Democratization Movement without any control. Or they reported various political events and anti-government protests that took place in Korea as they were. At the time, people involved in the Chun Doo-hwan military government called me an 'anti-government reporter'. According to cultural theory, culture expands as much as it is destroyed by human will. The fierce resistance of the Korean people and the masses against dictatorship and political oppression must have contributed to the progress of democracy to the extent that they resisted.

An unforgettable event was created during this time. I am the author of 'Although the Central Intelligence Agency (all 3 volumes)', and in the United States, I had the opportunity to interview former Central Intelligence Agency officials such as Bang Jun-mo, former head of the Central Intelligence Agency's inspection office, and Choi Se-hyeon, a former public official in Japan (affiliated with the Central Intelligence Agency). As a result, the disappearance of Kim Hyung-wook, former director of the Central Intelligence Agency, was tracked. The name of the author often appears in the disappearance data of Kim Hyung-wook of the Past Photo Investigation Committee, which was advanced by the Roh Moo-hyun administration. However, in this regard, the truth I was tracking was eventually buried.

America is a true, very democratic country. However, the United States, which had been watching in the United States, put Korea's democratization on the back burner, perhaps because it cared for its own national interest. In 1987, a visiting US delegation led by President Kim Young-sam stopped by New York El. At a meeting attended by more than 20 members of the National Assembly, speaker Lee Ga, who served as the US ambassador to Korea, made a bold remark, saying, “Roh Tae-woo will be the next president.” As he said, Roh Tae-woo became the president. The United States allowed a military coup in South Korea and tolerated their brutal power. I witnessed an embarrassing moment.

At that time, the people of Korea resisted the military dictatorships of Park Chung-hee and Chun Doo-hwan. They fought in the streets to establish democracy. Poisonous, poisonous, tear gas seeped into his lungs. They fought on the street by breaking bricks on the road and throwing them with all their might. In particular, information related to the Gwangju Massacre began to flow into New York one after another. Struggle news and information of the people who resisted the anti-dictatorship, who had closed their eyes in Korea, flowed into New York through underground channels. I recorded all domestic news and information that resisted the military regime in the liberated district of New York, USA. At this time, newspapers used a new communication tool called 'fax milli', and most of them were introduced into the country and delivered to politicians and civic groups. 'Fax communication' showed its power. Even if it was blocked, I witnessed a hole of bright dawn opening somewhere.

Also, at this time, the Koreans who met North Korean leader Kim Il-sung (April 15, 1912, born in South Pyongan Province-July 8, 1994) were covered and reported in a series. At that time, the South Korean government was implementing a policy of containment of North Korean information. It was a time when newspapers could not freely publish photos of Kim Il-sung. But America was different. US citizens were allowed to visit North Korea. Many South Koreans with US citizenship visited North Korea and met Kim Il-sung. There were also many people who visited North Korea from Japan and met North Korean leader Kim Il-sung. Interviews with people who personally met Kim Il-sung in North Korea were dozens of people, including Lim Chang-yeong, former ambassador to the United Nations (September 6, 1960-June 1, 1961), and Ms. Mun Myung-ja (1930-2008), a journalist. Those who could not meet traced the material. also reported. I often visited the Columbia University library in Manhattan, New York, which had a large collection of vivid North Korean materials published by North Korea. There are many North Korean materials that were not available in South Korea.

Even then, “Why do you do such dangerous coverage? There were many people around me who said, “What are you going to do when you enter Korea?” However, since New York in the United States was also a newspaper published in Manhattan, it was an extraterritorial area where the Korean government could not interfere. At that time when I was able to write articles like this freely, it was a golden time (golden time) as a reporter. Perhaps, as you might guess, the American-Japanese Koreans who visited North Korea and met North Korean leader Kim Il-sung must have been the objects of surveillance and surveillance by intelligence agents dispatched from the Central Intelligence Agency and the National Security Agency. Wasn't I, a journalist, also one of the targets of surveillance? I am grateful to the United States for protecting me at the time. In this respect, I am pro-American.

Although Kim Il-sung is also the one who caused the 6.25. He was the best North Korean politician who had a long-term political confrontation between South and North Korea with former presidents Rhee Syngman, Park Chung-hee, Chun Doo-hwan, Roh Tae-woo, and Kim Young-sam. Korea is a liberal democracy country. In the long confrontation between South Korea and North Korea, it can be said that South Korea, which chose liberal democracy, won. The explosive economic growth that South Korea has achieved, which can be regarded as the pride of human history, was due to liberal democracy. At the time of meeting Kim Il-sung, Koreans may have been 'puffed up' by having met Kim Il-sung. However, Kim Il-sung can be a defeatist in the confrontation between South Korea and North Korea.

From 1985 to 1989, my life as a newspaper reporter in Manhattan, New York, USA was the blossoming period of my life. It was a very poor time economically. Still, looking back, I thought I was great. “Misfortune is the power to give birth to a great person,” he said, but because he had an unhappy childhood, he was able to spend his misfortune without knowing it was misfortune.

In 1989, I came to Seoul. He joined the Segye Ilbo, a daily newspaper, and was appointed to the political department. However, Mr. A (former head of public information at the embassy in the U.S.) of the newspaper who ate rust during the Chun Doo-hwan regime slammed me coldly, saying, “You are a red reporter, if you can slit my neck and enter the political department, come in!” At that time, I thought

"okay. It is true that I am a journalist from Musan Daejung. am i a leftist? no. I am Korean, so it is clear that I am Korean. Since I was born, I have always eaten with my right hand, so I am right-wing. I hold it with my right hand when I go up or down the escalator when I get on the train, so I am a rightist. I like the overseas side of the Chosun Ilbo, so I read it often, so I am a Chosun Ilbo. I like yellow-colored jobap, so it's jopa. What if you answer more honestly? I am a man, so I am a man. More to the point, to be honest, I always use my left hand to clean my anus because my left hand is more convenient. More and more, to be honest, the left? the right wing? I'm not sure. When a bomber carries bombs and flies at high speed toward the enemy camp, it flies with its left and right wings. If it flies with only one wing, it will eventually self-destruct. Even an insignificant fly flies with its left and right wings.”

I joined the Segye Ilbo Political Department, but I could not even go near the Political Department. He left without any regrets.

Starting in 1990, my life was pushed to the scene of a more violent sweep. That year, he joined the Saturday Newspaper. During the 1992 presidential election, he led the presidential election coverage as editor-in-chief. When Director Ahn Taek-soo, who was the editor-in-chief, left the editorial office to run for the National Assembly, owner Hong Seong-mok (publisher) appointed me as editor-in-chief. Director Ahn Taek-soo, who was the former editor-in-chief, handed over 35,000 copies of the Saturday Newspaper (weekly) to me, the successor director. During the December 18 presidential election in 1992, I was the editor-in-chief. At this time, the number of copies issued exceeded 330,000. It was the highest circulation in the history of Korean weekly newspapers. It must have been because of the editorial tone of his pro-Kim Dae-jung. Perhaps, this was the time when I reached the peak of my life as a journalist all my life.

Life is like running a marathon alone. That was not it. At this time, the owner of the 'Saturday Newspaper' took back the editor-in-chief position that had been granted to me. The failure in the presidential election of Kim Dae-jung was the root cause. Politics was such a scary thing. It seems that he was scheduled to come down once he reached the top. Life was a relay relay, not a marathon race. I had to leave the position of editor-in-chief of the weekly newspaper that I devoted myself to raising, giving up the position of editor-in-chief that I had devoted myself to raising. At that time, presidential candidate Kim Dae-jung, who had failed, left if he went to England to study. Tears welled up in my eyes. I cried for days. It felt like coming down from the top.

After leaving the Saturday Newspaper, he founded Sunday Seoul, a weekly newspaper, in 1993 and worked for three years as a director and editor-in-chief. The factual basis for writing the history of modern weekly newspapers in Korea was being established. After finishing the post of editor-in-chief of the Saturday Newspaper and Sunday Seoul, I moved over to the system where I am the owner-publisher of the newspaper.

With the permission of then-Minister Oh In-hwan, who was the Minister of Public Information during the five years of the Kim Young-sam administration, I began to work with 'Weekly Hyundai' and 'Inside Story', a current affairs weekly newspaper. The newspaper was founded in April 1997. Since 1997, I have been publishing a weekly newspaper, 'Weekly Hyundai', and since 1998, I have been publishing a weekly newspaper, 'Inside Story'. Since 2003, he has been publishing the Internet newspaper Break News. Break News ranked first in the number of visitors in the Internet newspaper industry for a while. It has grown into a large media outlet with over 10 million monthly visitors. It is still the medium that ranks high in terms of the number of visitors.

One thing that cannot be left out of my life is the publication of the daily 'Pen and Freedom' (abbreviated as 'Daily Pen'-daily national general magazine), which began publication in 2000. I was the most interviewed person during the days of former President Kim Dae-jung and opposition leader. A full-scale interview should last at least 3 hours. Only then can you penetrate the essence. Due to such a deep relationship with former President Kim Dae-jung, he was also the first interviewer after Kim Dae-jung took office in February 1998. Minister of Culture Park Ji-won was the minister who registered the 'Daily Pen and Freedom' that I had issued. 'Daily Pen', a tabloid-style national daily newspaper, has been the best-selling street newspaper in Seoul since its publication.

Among the people who had a clear presence in the history of modern media in Korea, there is a publisher-editor of the monthly magazine Deep Rooted Tree (1976.3-1980.8), Chang-ki Han (born in Boseong, South Jeolla Province, 1936-1997). At that time, the monthly magazine sales market was poor, so management difficulties must have followed.

The weekly newspaper ‘Weekly Hyundai’, of which I am the owner (publisher), was founded in 1997, and ‘Inside Story of the Case’ was founded in 1998. Internet newspaper Bray News (www.breaknews.com) was founded in 2003. These media are still being published (start of publication in 1997-2023). Starting empty-handed, he created the heyday of weekly newspapers and Internet newspapers on his own.

The publisher of ‘Deep-rooted Tree’ in its heyday was a prominent Honam native, but the period of publication of the magazine was only 4 years and 5 months. My media publishing has been going on for more than 26 years, so if I compare myself with publishers in their prime, I'm on the axis of people with very good luck.

In secular terms, this was the so-called golden time, when it worked best. However, the years at the peak were very short and short. About a year and a half after the publication of the daily newspaper, the labor union declared a general strike, and the popular daily newspaper was forced to close. As the owner-publisher, I climbed to the top and fell to the dusty ground. I thought I was going to be a great person. That was not it. Seongju Goegong (成主壞空). There was a time to build up, and a time to tear down followed closely.

Yes. I spent 50 years of his life (including 3 years as a military veteran) as a reporter. It is not a short time. this time now. At this time when I am a publisher or owner of a newspaper, the mission that I am still committed to is "acting to expand freedom".

South Korea is a country steeped in freedom of the press. Compared to China-Russia-North Korea, I think it is a country that is like a paradise for freedom of speech. I think I am very fortunate to be able to live in a country like this. I carved the phrase "Freedom, let's live together! I can't live without you" on a very hard tree with a carving knife and hung it outside the company. As a media owner, "Let's not change" is a kind of pledge.

I have worked as a journalist or media owner-publisher in the former presidents Roh Tae-woo, Kim Young-sam, Kim Dae-jung, Roh Moo-hyun, Lee Myung-bak, Park Geun-hye, Moon Jae-in, and the current government Yoon Seok-yeol, following the Park Chung-hee-Chun Doo-hwan military dictatorship. Korea served in its own way in the process of democratization and democracy settling. The seawater does not ask itself from which valley it flows, but it is dissolved in itself. The author, too, is a stream of media in the process of democratization-democracy settling in the Republic of Korea. It hopes to remain as one of those streams.

From 1976, he worked as a reporter in earnest, and from that time until just before the Moon Jae-in administration, he was the subject of management-observation-monitoring by the Central Intelligence Agency, the National Security Agency, and the IOs (Intelligence Agents) of the National Intelligence Service. They used to come often. Every time the successor changes, they claim to be my manager and ask, “Did you come up on the thief train from Jangseong Station in 1976?” “Are you the guy who came up to Seoul on a thief train?” was a question that looked down on me, honestly. Maybe because I wrote well, I got a job in a monthly magazine while in the army, so I had to go to work the day after my discharge. I put on my reserve uniform and boots and went to Jangseong Station. The train ticket inspector on the Honam Line gave me a salute and told me to board. To be precise, it was a free ride. However, it was a ride that the inspection agent himself permitted. Therefore, the thief train did not board. But, I was that kind of guy.

I have collected 1,500 nude paintings for the past 16 years with the intention of creating the Seoul Nude Art Museum. That dream is ripening. In the meantime, he has been dreaming of a splendid revival of beautiful nude paintings, which have been neglected. This is also a piece of my life. With the opening of the Seoul Nude Art Museum, we hope that people from all over the world can come and appreciate it.

In 2012, I declared myself a religious leader of the Laughter Religion. In the meantime, he has produced 208 articles related to the religion of laughter (3,000 sheets of 200-character manuscript paper) and has been striving to prove the value of laughter (價値). Why did you do that? This is because laughter was used as the highest negotiating value in international politics, and it was hoped that a world of peace without war would be completed. It was a level to provide an idea of peace, a secret solution for all mankind to laugh and live together hahaha. It is revealed that the self-proclaimed title of 'Laughter Religion' is by no means absurd.

If there was a golden time in my life, I would never have wasted my time like the above. Also, since he was born as the son of a native farmer in a poor rural village and started his life unhappy, would he have succeeded as a great person? no. didn't even do that? Really, it wasn't that kind of life. The main character of the movie 'I'm Yours' compared "capitalism to fascism". At the same time, he criticized that “corporations dominated the place of fascism.” In my opinion, I think that corporations have taken away the position that the media had for a long time. The media used to be at the apex of the power triangle, but not now. Will those years ever come again? As a child, I was a farmer. I graduated from an agricultural high school, so I was a farmer until I graduated from high school. Until a farmer became a publisher of a cutting-edge Internet newspaper, he lived a short life. As a writer, he has published over 30 books. He picks 'Although the Central Intelligence Agency (3 volumes in total)' as his representative book. Sudden change-buried in transformation. Having lived my life alone, running, and hard, life never shined like a winning marathon runner. Life was not a marathon run furiously alone. Finally, I realized that life is a relay race.

I reveal that I wrote this article as a record because there is a corner of my life, noisy and noisy. There was no golden hour in my life. Wasted time, that was it. He confesses that he was just riding on the seat of the years, like a train running at high speed. It's not golden time. However, I confess that it was a 'time to make a seat' for the upcoming successor. My life was a series of non-mainstreams. That's why I respect the mainstream. This article is a confession of a non-mainstream life from beginning to end, but to all those who have helped me, I take off my woolen hat and say “thank you.” And, successors of my life, glory to you!

I have created over 500 poems. Below is my poem.

[Poetry] Like radish in a vegetable garden

Radishes freshly picked from the vegetable garden

Ki looks alive.

If you watch from the side while your mother is making kimchi,

If you sprinkle a handful of salt on green and strong radish,

No matter how strong the heat, the grass quickly dies

Soon, the radish will wither.

A poet is like a young radish rooted in a vegetable garden

I struggled to live my life to the fullest.

The world sprinkled salt on me

The poet did not want to live like a salted radish.

I wanted to live fresh and stand in my place.

Every time I eat kimchi over white rice

ten radish arms

Thinking is life <The author/Moon Il-seok. poet. Director of the Seoul Residents Association. Member of Korean Writers Association (Poetry Division>.
