브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 그룹 이달의 소녀 멤버 츄의 학교폭력(학폭) 가해 의혹을 제기한 누리꾼이 허위사실임을 시인하며 사과했다.
츄의 학폭 가해 의혹을 주장하던 A씨는 지난 23일 온라인 커뮤니티를 통해 “내가 적었던 모든 내용은 과장된 내용이었다. 학창시절 김지우(츄 본명)와 사이가 별로 좋지 않았고, 시간이 흐르다보니 기억이 각색되고 변한 것 같다”고 밝혔다.
이어 A씨는 “처음 글을 쓰고 뭔가 잘못 됐다고 느꼈을 때 글을 내렸어야 했는데, 저의 잘못된 판단으로 여기까지 오게 됐다”며 “블록베리 측과 이달소 츄 그 외 멤버들 그리고 팬분들에게 정말 죄송하다”며 “학폭과 관련된 다른 모든 글들은 삭제하겠다. 물의를 일으켜 죄송하다. 일이 이렇게 커질거라고 예상하지 못했다”고 덧붙였다.
이후 A씨는 자필 사과문까지 올리며 “글을 올리고 생각보다 큰 관심을 받고, 수많은 댓글들이 달리는 것을 보고 두려움을 느꼈다. 익명에 숨어 글을 올린 나도 두렵고 무서운데 본인은 어땠을지 생각하니 내 죄가 얼마나 큰지 깨달았다”며 “죄송하다는 말밖에는 할 말이 없다”고 거듭 사과했다.
앞서 지난 22일 오후 한 온라인 커뮤니티에는 츄의 학교 폭력을 주장하는 글이 게재됐다. 자신을 츄의 중학교 동창이라고 밝힌 A씨는 “김지우는 실세에 딱 붙어서 이간질 역할을 했다. 이들은 돌아가면서 친구들을 왕따시켰다”고 주장했다.
이에 츄의 소속사 블록베리크리에이티브 측은 지난 23일 공식입장을 내고 “당사는 최초 이달의 소녀에 대한 유포 내용을 접하고 최선을 다해 이의 사실관계부터 먼저 규명해보고자 노력했다. 해당 멤버와의 깊이 있는 면담은 물론, 소속사가 확인할 수 있는 모든 정황 및 상황들을 정리한 결과 이달의 소녀와 관련한 내용은 악의적이고 명백한 허위사실이다”고 알렸다.
또 “이달의 소녀에 대한 무분별한 허위 사실 유포를 더 이상 묵과할 수 없다고 판단했고, 소속 아티스트를 보호하고자 오는 24일 법무법인 광장을 통해 허위사실 유포에 의한 명예훼손 죄로 고소를 준비하고 있다”며 “소속 아티스트의 실명을 거론하며 근거 없는 허위사실을 유포하는 명예훼손에 해당하는 악의적인 글이 확인되고 있기에 증거자료를 확보해, 관련 유포자에 대해 강경 대응을 하겠다”고 강조했다.
