‘2020 APAN MUSIC AWARDS’ 영예의 대상의 주인공은 방탄소년단 이었다. ‘2020 APAN MUSIC AWARDS’는 대한민국 대중문화예술산업을 이끄는 (사)한국연예매니지먼트협회 (회장 손성민)가 주최, 주관하며 (주)웨이드가 (대표 이수진) 공동주최·주관하고 대중문화예술기획업 유관단체(한국연예제작자협회, 한국음반산업협회, 한국대중문화예술산업총연합, 한국매니지먼트연합 등)들이 공식 인정한 최초 통합 음악 시상식으로 2020년 가장 핫한 아티스트들 중 치열한 경합 끝에 방탄소년단이 대상을 거머쥐었다.
가수 김종국과 배우 전소민이 MC를 맡아 진행된 이번 시상식에서 대상 No.1 Achievement의 영광은 방탄소년단(BTS)에게 돌아갔으며, 올해의 음반상에는 트와이스, 올해의 음원상은 몬스타엑스, 올해의 아티스트상은 NCT127이 받았으며, 남자 신인상은 트레저 여자 산인상은 HYNN(박혜원)이 수상했다.
