격암유록은 미륵(彌勒,마에트레야)에 대하여 여러 차례 기록하고 있습니다. 마치 성경 이사야서와 다니엘서에 구세주 출현에 대해 적었듯이 격암유록도 미륵출현에 대해 아주 구체적으로 적고 있습니다.(이사야와 다니엘의 구세주는 격암유록의 미륵,정도령과 동일인 입니다)
출현 시기와 출현 장소와 그가 출현하여 무슨 일을 하는지, 어떤 방법을 쓰는지, 심지어는 처음에는 중생들이 미륵을 도무지 알아보지 못할 것이고 그 이유는 이렇다 까지 기록하고 있습니다.
불자(佛子)들에게 미륵에 대해서 물어 보면 대체로 냉소적이라는 느낌을 받습니다. 팔만대장경 읽기도 바쁜데 미륵 생각할 틈 있느냐고 대놓고 말하는 사람도 있고 미륵이 출현할 때가 안 되었다고 하는 사람도 있고 56억7천만 년 뒤에 오신다는데 우리랑 무슨 상관이냐고 하는 사람도 있습니다. 물론 모든 이가 냉소적인 것은 아닙니다.
지금은 석가지운(釋迦之運) 삼천 년이 훌쩍 넘었습니다. 성경 식으로 1세대를 30년으로 계산한다면 이미 100세대나 지났습니다. 그러니 기다려도 기다려도 오지 않았던 미륵이 이제 와서 왔다고 한들 귀를 기울여줄 만한 사람이 그다지 없게 되었습니다. 그러나 미륵은 본시부터 석존 사후 삼천 년을 기다려야 오게 되어 있으니 때는 바로 이때입니다.
삼사십 년 전부터 사찰을 중심으로 도처에 우담화가 피기 시작했고, 미륵불교의 원찰(願刹)이었다는 개태사 경내 감나무 두 가지 사이에 마귀 쫓는 엄나무가 자랐고, 경기도 일대에 비행황제(미륵의 별칭)로 보이는 UFO가 자주 나타나는 현상들을 보았을 때 미륵이 출현했다고 믿어보는 것은 신심(信心)을 가진 불자로서 응당 가져볼 만한 생각이라고 여깁니다. 불경 선불가진수어록에는 미륵이 역사하시는 곳을 寰(경기고을 환, 천자의 직할지) 이라고 했습니다.
불경에는 증일아함경 49권에 ‘將來之世 有佛名 彌勒出現於世 彌時國界名 鷄頭王所治處(장래지세 유불명 미륵출현어세 미시국계명 계두왕소지처) 장래 세상에 부처님이 있어 미륵이라 하며 세상에 출현하시는데 이 때의 나라 이름은 계두왕이 다스리는 곳’이라고 했습니다. 계두왕은 신라 석탈해왕의 뒤를 이어 왕이 된 사람이며 그가 닭이 우는 숲에서 나왔다고 하여 숲의 이름과 동시에 나라 이름을 ‘계림(鷄林)’이라 부르게 되었다고 하지요.
다음은 격암유록 歌辭總論(가사총론)의 미륵출현과 관계되는 기록 중 일부입니다.
“入山修道 念佛님네 彌勒世尊 苦待치만 釋迦之運 去不來로 한 번가고 아니오니
三千之運 釋迦預言 當末下生 彌勤佛을 萬疊山中 仙人들아 山中滋味 閒寂하나
虎狼盜賊 是亦弓不 在山일세 斗牛在野 勝地處엔 彌勤佛이 出現컨만
儒佛仙이 腐敗하야 아는君子 누구누구 削髮爲僧 侍主님네 世音普薩 게누군고
侍主普薩 不覺하고 彌勤佛을 제알손가 阿彌陀佛 佛道人들 八萬經券 工夫하야
極樂간다 말은하나 가난길이 稀徵하고 西學入道 天堂人들 天堂말은 참조으나
九萬長天 멀고머니 一平生엔 다못가고 영歌時調 儒士들은 五倫三綱 正人道나
倨慢放恣 猜忌嫉妬 陰邪情欲 시일너라 人道儒와 地道佛이 日落之運 맡은故로
洛書夜運 昏衢中에 彷徨霧中 失路로서 儒佛仙州 各分派로 相勝相利 말하지만
天堂인지 極樂인지 彼此-般 다못하고 平生修道 十年工夫 南無阿彌 陀佛일세
(해설) 산에 들어가서 염불 수도하는 분들은 산에서 미륵세존을 기다리지만 석가의 운은 한번가고 아니오며 삼천년 석가예언 말세를 당하면 생미륵불이 다시 나타나게 되어있는 것이다. 여러개의 산들에 둘러 쌓인 가운데서 생활하는 신선의 도를 닦는 사람들은 산속의 재미가 한가하고 고요하나, 도깨비와 범과 이리같은 도적들이 날뛰니 이 또한 이기신 하나님은 산에 있지 않음이다.
두우성이 들에 있는 십승지에는 생미륵불이 출현하게 되어 있건만 유교, 불교, 기독교가 썩어서 아는 군자가 누구인가. 머리 깎고 중이 되어 시주하는 분들아, 관세음보살이 누구인가. 시주하는 보살님도 깨닫지 못한 생미륵불을 어찌 알아 볼 수 있겠는가.
아미타불 불도를 믿는 사람들은 팔만경을 공부하여 극락 간다 말은 하나 가는 길이 희미하고, 기독교에 입도하여 천당 간다고 믿고 있는 사람들은 천당 말은 참 좋으나 구만장천 멀고머니 한평생에 다 못가고, 영가시조 부르는 유교의 선비들은 바른 사람의 도(道)이지만 거만하고 방자하며 시기와 질투와 다만 음사정욕 뿐이구나.
인도(人道)의 유교(儒敎)와 지도(地道)의 불교(佛敎)가 해가 떨어질 운을 맞아 후천의 어두웠던 운은 희미한 네거리 가운데서 안개속에 방황하고 길 잃은 사람같다. 유불선이 각 분파로 서로 이롭다고 말은 하지만 천당인지 극락인지 피차일반 다 못하고, 평생수도 십년공부 나무아미타불이구나.“
혹자는 원문에 한글이 많이 섞여 있는 것에 대해 의아하게 여길 수도 있을 것입니다. 그러나 격암 남사고님(1509~1571)은 이조 명종때 학자로 한글이 창제된 일백년 이상 지나서 활동하였으니 이상할 것은 없습니다. 가사총론 편은 파자(破字)나 은유(隱喩) 등의 어려운 방법은 쓰지 않고 미륵이 출현 할 당시의 사회상을 예견하고 가벼운 터치로 그려놓았습니다.
이와 관련된 책이 한권 있습니다. 그것은 미륵삼부경 속에는 포함되지 않으나 지금의 말겁시대에 불자들은 필독해야 할 것으로 생각되어 소개를 드리는바 <불설미륵고불존경>입니다. 격암유록을 통해 불자들의 회심(回心)이 쉽지 않을 것을 예견하신 부처님께서 미리 이때를 당해 알려주시려고 준비하신 책이라고 생각합니다.
책의 서두에 ‘중국 산서 평양부 악양현 왕가농장이니, 홀연히 한 우뢰소리가 난 뒤 돌이 무너지고 그 속에서 미륵존경 한 권이 나와서 만천하에 전하게 된지라. 이 경을 베끼고 써서 널리 세상에 알릴 것이요, 집안에 감추어 두고 알리지 않는다면 그런 사람에게는 하늘에서 큰 재앙을 내릴 것이니 그 죄가 가볍지 않을 것이다. 그것은 마치 목숨이 겁살 가운데 있는 것과 마찬가지일 것이다.’라 적혀 있습니다.

“..... 참된 경을 노래 삼아 외우면 가히 말겁(말겁)에 어려움을 면할 것이요 또한 일신의 재앙을 면케 될 것이다. 급급히 초(抄)해서 천 명의 사람에게 전하면 말겁에 어려움을 면하고 또한 질병전염을 면할 것이니, 가히 사람에게 권하여 입마다 염불케 한다면 좋고도 좋은 일이다. 만약 믿지 않은 사람이 있다면, 재화가 몸에 임할 것이니, 다만 오월과 십일월을 보라. 밥이 있어도 먹는 이가 없을 것이요 길이 있어도 다니는 사람이 없을 것이며 곳곳에서 도적들이 연기를 피울 것이요, 범과 같은 사나운 짐승이 산에 가득할 것이며 큰 비와 태풍이 덮쳐와 사람들을 근심케 할 것이며 오월과 칠월에는 큰 비가 하늘을 덮을 것이다......”
신비적 요소가 많이 담긴 미륵진경은 아무 때나 밝힐 수 없었던 비밀을 담고 있는데 다름 아닌 불기 삼천년(북방불기)으로 노출 시기를 한정했던 것입니다. 불기 3천년이 언제입니까. 격암유록이 예언하는 미륵출현의 때며 20세기 후반입니다. 자비의 화신이신 미륵은 말겁을 피할 수 있는 기회를 거듭하여 우리에게 베푸는 것입니다. sususos119@naver.com

Gyukam Yurok has been recorded several times about Maitreya (彌勒, Maetreya). Just as I wrote about the appearance of the Savior in the books of Isaiah and Daniel in the Bible, Gyukam Yurok also writes very specifically about the emergence of Mireuk (Isaiah and Daniel's savior is the same person as Mireuk and Jeong Jeong-ryeong of Gyeokam Yurok).
The time and place of appearance, what he does when he appears, what method he uses, and even at first, regenerations will not be able to recognize Maitreya at all, and the reasons for this are recorded.
When I ask Buddhists about Maitreya, I usually feel cynical. There are people who are busy reading the Tripitaka Koreana, but some openly ask if they have time to think about Maitreya, others say that the time for Maitreuk to appear is not coming, and others say what has to do with us, saying that it will come in 5.67 billion years later. Of course, not everyone is cynical.
Now, more than three thousand years have passed since Seok Gai-un (釋迦之運). If the first generation is calculated as 30 years in the Bible way, 100 generations have already passed. So, there aren't many people who can listen to Maitreuk, who didn't come even if they waited for it. However, Mireuk is supposed to wait for three thousand years after the death of Seokjon from the main city, so this is the time.
From thirty and forty years ago, woody paintings began to bloom around the temple, and between the two persimmon trees in the grounds of Gaetaesa Temple, which was said to have been the original temple of Mireuk Buddhism, an umbilical tree grew between two persimmon trees. Seeing the phenomena where UFOs frequently appear, it is a worthwhile idea to believe that Maitreya emerged as a Buddhist with faith. The place where Mireuk works is called 寰 (Gyeonggi High School, the place under the direct control of Cheonja).
In the Buddhist scriptures, in the 49th volume of the Jeung-il Aham-gyeong, there is the future state commandment of the King Gye-du-kung, who has the future state of the world. He said that he appeared in the world, and the name of the country at this time was the place where King Gyedu ruled. King Gyedu was the successor to King Seoktalhae of Silla, and he came out of a forest where a rooster was crying, so he came to call the name of the forest and the country'Gyerim'.

The word goes to enjoyment, but the path to poverty is 稀徵, and the words of the heavenly people of the Western Language and Culture are referenced.

Whether it's heavenly or 極樂, he can't finish it, and he's the ten-year-old 南無阿彌 陀佛.
(Commentary) Those who enter the mountain and pray for prayer wait for the Maitreya Buddha in the mountain, but they say that the luck of the Buddha goes once and no. Those who practice the spirit of freshness who live in the midst of a number of mountains are leisurely and quiet in the mountains, but the god who overcomes is not on the mountain because goblins, beasts, and thieves are raging.
Although it is supposed to appear in the Ten Sengji Temple in the Doowooseong field, who knows because Confucianism, Buddhism, and Christianity are rotten. Who is the Guanseum Bodhisattva? How can you find out about the live Maitreya Buddha that even a bodhisattva, who is in vain, did not realize?
Those who believe in Amitabha Buddha study eight mangyeongs and say that one goes to paradise is faint, and those who believe that they are going to Heaven by entering Christianity are very good at the words of Heaven, but they can't go all their lives in their lifetime. The scholar of the scholar is the way of the upright person, but they are arrogant and self-sufficient, envy and jealousy and only lust.
Confucianism in India and Buddhism in Guidance are like a person wandering in the fog in the midst of the dim intersection and lost in the dark fortunes of Hucheon as the sun sets. It is said that Yu and Bu-seon are beneficial to each other, but whether it is Heaven or Paradise, they are not able to do all of them, and it is Namu Amita Buddha who has studied for ten years.”
Some may wonder that the original text contains a lot of Hangul. However, it is no wonder that Gyeokam Namsagonim (1509~1571) was active as a scholar during the King Myeongjong of Ijo more than 100 years after the creation of Hangeul. The General House of Lyrics section predicts the society at the time of the emergence of Mireuk, without using difficult methods such as paja (破字) or metaphor, and draws with a light touch.
There is one book that comes to mind when I am about to finish my writing. It is not included in the Mireuk Sambu-gyeong, but it is thought that Buddhists should read it in the present era of the end of the word, so I introduce it to you. I think it was a book prepared by the Buddha who predicted that the conversion of Buddhists would not be easy through Gyukam Yurok.
At the beginning of the book, “This is a royal family farm in Akyang County, Pyongyang, Shanxi, China. After an unexpected thunder sounded, a stone collapsed, and a book of Respect for Maitreya came out in it, and it was handed down to the full. By copying and writing this sutra, it will be widely known to the world, and if it is hidden in the house and not made known, it will bring great disaster from heaven to such a person, and the sin will not be light. It will be as if your life is in fear.'
“..... If you memorize the true sutras as a song, you will save yourself from hardships and disasters. If you urgently give it to a thousand people, you will avoid difficulty in speech and disease transmission, so it is good or good if you encourage people to be mindful of every mouth. If there is someone who does not believe, goods will come to the body, just look at May and November. There will be food, but no one will eat; there will be roads, but no one will go, and thieves will smoke everywhere, and the mountains will be filled with fierce beasts like a wolf; heavy rains and typhoons will strike and crush people; in May and July A great rain will cover the sky......”
Mireukjingyeong, which contains a lot of mystical elements, contains a secret that could not be revealed at any time, but the exposure time was limited to 3,000 years of blowing (northern blowing). When is the three thousandth blowing year? It is the time of the emergence of Maitreya predicted by Gyukam Yurok, and is the second half of the 20th century.
