문정원은 13일 자신의 인스타그램에 “층간 소음 문제와 관련해 사과의 말씀드리고자 한다. 해당 댓글이 사라지면서 저의 댓글도 지워진 듯하다. 그렇다고 문제 자체가 사라진 건 아니라고 생각해 다시금 글을 올린다”며 운을 뗐다.

또 문정원은 “이 글을 작성하기에 앞서 다시 한번 주민분을 찾아뵙고 사과의 말씀을 드렸다. 앞으로 다시는 이런 일이 없도록 현실적인 해결책과 관련해 대화를 나눴다”며 “물론 그동안의 고충을 덜어드리기에는 많이 부족하겠지만 할 수 있는 모든 방법을 동원해 소음이 발생할 수 있는 상황에 대해 수시로 살피고 더욱 주의를 기울이겠다”고 전했다.
