한국도로공사에 따르면 이날 전국 고속도로 교통량은 482만대로 전망했다.
수도권에서 지방으로 빠져나가는 차량은 38만대, 지방에서 수도권으로 진입하는 차량은 49만대로 귀경방향에 차량이 몰릴 것으로 예측했다.
이에 따라 서울 방향에서 지방으로의 교통흐름은 대체로 원활하다.
반면 지방에서 서울방향으로는 오전 10시~11시경 정체가 시작되며 오후 5시~6시 사이가 가장 혼잡하다 밤 11시~12시경 해소될 전망이다.
