Given the last five minutes of life...

Dostoevsky clings to writing with the determination that life is five minutes in a row.

-Poet Kim Deok-kwon

If given the last five minutes of your life, what will you pray and close? I have already made most of my wills to my children. However, if I die after 5 minutes, I would like to do my last prayer like this and leave.

First, I will take care of my seowon ilsim

I've lived around 80 my entire life endlessly. However, for more than 40 years, I have been running with a single heart to become a scholarly Buddha, but I have not yet been able to become a Buddha. It is a big vow that I could not get rid of the mask of rebirth in this life, but I will surely achieve it in the next life.

Second, it is to take care of the spirit of purity.

There is a risk that if you do not take care of the spirit of purity while you are alive, you will not be able to enter the path of leadership. The last conviction becomes the first conviction in the next life. My soul should be able to fly freely.

Third, I would like to pray for thanks to all my lifelong bonds

Throughout my life, I have been connected with many people. Among them, there are many good and bad ones. There may be people who couldn't be released because they couldn't reach each other. So, I will close my eyes, wishing for the happiness and peace of all the relationships I have made throughout my life, whether it is good or bad.

If these five minutes that were given last to pray for these three things to the truth, wouldn't the golden hour be over?

In December 1849, a 28-year-old young man, who had been arrested on charges of dissidents, stood on the death row of the death penalty in Semyonov Square, Russia. Shouted the bailiff. He said, “I will give you the last five minutes before the death penalty.” The death row inmate was desperate for only five minutes. 'My life is over in 5 minutes now, so what can I do in these 5 minutes?' He first prayed, thinking of his family and colleagues.

“Forgive me for leaving my beloved family and friends first, and do not shed too much tears for me. And don't be too sad.” The bailiff announced that two minutes had passed. “You don’t have enough time to regret! Why did I live so wasted time? I wish I had more time for a moment… ”

Finally, the bailiff announced the last minute. The prisoner on death row looked around him in fear. “I can't feel the biting wind anymore, I can't feel the coldness of the ground through my bare feet, I can't see or touch, I'm sorry for everything!”

For the first time, the prisoner on death shed tears at the preciousness of the world.

“Now, I will begin execution now.” At that time, I heard the sound of people's footsteps and the sound of forming a line for fire from the other side. “I want to live, I want to live. A little bit more, a little bit more… “The sound of reloading the ‘Iron Clap!’ bullet pierced his heart. But at that very moment, “Stop, stop the sentence!”

A soldier waved a white towel and ran to the sentence. It was the emperor's urgent message to send exile instead of the death penalty. The death penalty managed to come to a halt and the prisoner on death row returned dramatically from the threshold of death. Who is the prisoner on death row? It was Dostoevsky, the great door of Russia.

The night he returned from the threshold of death, Dostoevsky wrote a letter to his brother. “When I look back on the past days and think of the days I spent with mistakes and laziness, my heart seems to be bleeding. If he had known when he was a little younger that life could be a gift of truth and every moment could be eternal happiness... Now my life will change. That means he is born again.”

After that, he spent four years in exile in Siberia and became the most valuable life in his life. He was immersed in his creative activities while living with a whopping 5kg shackles in the cold. He was in exile where he wasn't allowed to write, but he couldn't waste his time, so he started writing novels in his head instead of paper, even memorizing everything.

Dostoevsky, who came out of the world after his exile, hung up on writing with the determination that his life was five minutes in a row, and published numerous immortal masterpieces until he closed his eyes in 1881. Dostoyevsky, who has written works that are still widely loved, such as <Sin and Punishment> <Karamazov's Brothers> <Eternal Meeting>, later wrote in his feature novel <Idiot>.

“If I were given the last 5 minutes, I would like to spend 2 minutes saying goodbye to my comrades, 2 minutes looking back on life, and the last 1 minute looking at the world. I always have only 5 minutes to breathe in this world.”

The reason Dostoevsky did not die at that time on the death penalty may be because the time set by the truth has not yet come, and because he had a purpose and a plan. We often say that time is money. But time is life. The life given to us is time.

Now I don't know how much time I have left, but I'm so desperate that I want to leave after living a life for all the doban comrades I've been associated with all my life as I vowed. duksan4037@daum.net
