브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 가수 휘성(39)이 프로포폴(일명 ‘우유주사’로도 불리는 마약류로 분류되는 수면마취제) 상습 투약 혐의를 대부분은 인정했다.
22일 대구지법 안동지원에 따르면, 휘성은 지난 A씨와 함께 지난해 8월 마약류 관리에 관한 법률 위반(향정) 혐의로 불구속기소돼 지난 19일 첫 재판을 받았다.
이날 재판에서 휘성, 함께 기소된 지인 A씨는 프로포폴 상습 투약 혐의와 관련해 대부분 인정한 것으로 알려졌다.
휘성은 지난 2019년 12월 프로포폴을 수차례 투약한 혐의를 받고 있다. 이에 경북경찰청은 지난해 4월 휘성의 프로포폴 구매 혐의를 포착, 기소 의견으로 검찰에 송치했다.
휘성의 선고 공판은 오는 3월 9일 안동지원에서 열릴 예정이다.
한편, 휘성은 지난 2011년부터 2013년 초까지 서울 강남 피부과 등에서 프로포폴을 상습 투약한 혐의로 검찰 조사를 받았으나 무혐의 처분을 받은 바 있다.
또한 휘성은 지난해 3월 31일 서울 송파구 한 공중화장실에서, 4월 1일 서울 광진구 한 호텔 화장실에서 수면마취제를 투약한 뒤 실신한 채 발견됐고, 신고를 받고 출동한 경찰에 연행됐다. 다만 휘성이 투약한 약물은 마약류로 지정되지 않은 수면마취제 종류인 것으로 파악돼, 경찰 조사를 받고 귀가 조치됐다.
