IVE Cheers on Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) Volunteers; Support Video Released for Kick-off Ceremony
Title track "Looks Can Kill" to be pre-released on the 19th; new mini-album drops on the 26th.
Break News Reporter Park Dong-je = Ahead of their comeback with a new mini-album, the group IVE is sending a message of support to the 31st Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).
On the 4th, IVE will participate—via a video message—in the kick-off ceremony for the 31st BIFF volunteers, held at the Haneulyeon Theater within the Busan Cinema Center.
Their agency, Starship Entertainment, stated on the 4th, "IVE plans to convey heartfelt encouragement to the volunteers who will be working on-site to ensure the successful hosting of the Busan International Film Festival."
The released video contains a message from IVE addressed to the volunteers, who bridge the gap between the audience and the festival while performing their respective roles across the event venues. IVE expresses gratitude and cheers on the volunteers' meaningful work, sharing the message that even a small effort by one individual can inspire new dreams and courage in others.
Notably, IVE—who will pre-release their title track on the 19th and launch their new mini-album *Looks Can Kill* on the 26th—creates a special connection between this gesture of support and the "Girl Hero" concept of their upcoming album.
The initiative holds added significance by highlighting the festival volunteers as "true heroes" and delivering a warm message and positive energy ahead of their musical release. Meanwhile, IVE will kick off their full-scale promotions by pre-releasing the title track "Looks Can Kill" on the 19th and releasing the new mini-album of the same name on the 26th.
"Looks Can Kill" is an IVE-style spin-off project based on a "girl hero" concept—featuring a persona capable of delivering a fatal blow simply through their presence.
