브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 주요 시중은행에서 잇따라 정보유출 사고가 발생하면서 금융권 보안에 대한 우려가 커지고 있다.
지난 1일 신한은행에서 약 2만5000명의 개인·신용정보가 유출된 데 이어 2일 KB국민은행에서도 고객 100여명의 정보가 외부로 유출되는 사고가 발생했다.
이날 금융권과 금융당국에 따르면 금융감독원은 KB국민은행 고객 100여명의 정보가 유출된 사고를 확인하고 현장조사를 진행하고 있다.
금감원은 사고가 외부에 알려지기 전부터 현장에 인력을 투입해 사고 내용을 확인해온 것으로 알려졌으며 정확한 유출 경위와 정보 종류, 추가 피해 여부 등을 확인하고 있다.
금감원 관계자는 "현재 어느 정도 사고 내용을 확인해 대응 중이고 IT팀이 현장에 나가 있다"며 "구체적인 유출 경로나 세부 내용은 현장에서 추가로 확인하고 있다"고 말했다.
한편, 전날에는 신한은행에서 고객 약 2만5000명의 개인·신용정보가 유출되는 사고가 발생했다. 사고는 외부 비인가자가 인증 절차를 우회해 일부 서비스에 접근하면서 발생한 것으로 전해졌다.
이에 금융위원회와 금감원은 전날 신한은행 정보유출 사고와 관련해 대응 회의를 열고 사고 경위와 함께 후속 대책을 논의 중이다. 특히 주요 시중은행에서 대규모 정보유출 사고가 연이어 발생했다는 점에서 보안 점검 및 대응이 강화될 것으로 예상된다.
