충남 논산시가 추석 명절을 앞두고 제수용품과 선물 세트의 유통 질서를 확립하고 먹거리 안전성을 확보하기 위한 대대적인 현장 점검에 나선다.
논산시는 충청남도, 시 특별사법경찰, 농산물품질관리원과 손잡고 합동단속반을 구성, 오는 9월 18일까지 관내 명절 성수품 유통망을 집중 점검한다고 밝혔다. 조사 대상은 명절 수요가 몰리는 제조·가공·유통업체를 비롯해 대형마트 및 일반 판매점 등이다.
단속반은 부정 유통 행위를 근절하기 위해 원산지 허위 및 미표시 ,무등록·무표시 제품 사용 여부 ,축산물 거래명세서 비치 상태 ,소비기한 경과 식자재 보관·사용 여부 ,영업자 준수사항 및 기본 위생기준 준수 여부 등을 다각도로 점검할 계획이다.
논산시는 점검 과정에서 적발된 위법 업소에 대해 관련 법령에 따른 행정처분 등 엄정 조치하는 한편, 명절 전까지 현장 예찰을 강화해 시민이 안심할 수 있는 먹거리 환경을 조성할 방침이다.
논산시 관계자는 “명절 대목을 노린 부정 유통 행위를 선제적으로 차단해 안심하고 추석 성수품을 구매할 수 있는 환경을 만들겠다”고 강조했다.
