군 보건소는 오는 10월 31일까지 관내 9개 읍·면 349개 행정리 전역을 대상으로 전문 방역소독업체 용역을 통해 주 1회 이상 정기 소독을 실시한다. 특히 모기 등 해충매개 감염병 위험이 높은 7월부터 9월까지는 하절기 집중 방역 기간으로 정하고 소독 횟수를 주 2회 이상으로 늘려 방역에 총력을 기울일 방침이다.
여름철에 빈번히 발생하는 수인성 및 식품매개 감염병의 집단 발생을 막기 위한 비상방역체계도 오는 9월 30일까지 병행 운영된다. 음성군보건소는 충청북도, 보건환경연구원, 감염병관리지원단 등 유관기관과 유기적인 협력 관계를 구축하고 24시간 비상 연락 체계를 유지하기로 했다. 이를 통해 집단 환자가 발생할 경우 즉각적인 모니터링과 역학조사 등 신속한 초동 대응에 나선다는 계획이다.
