이번에 개발된 자료는 교육환경의 변화 속에서 학생과 교사가 AI 기술을 올바르게 분별하고 활용할 수 있는 실천적 지침을 제공하기 위해 기획됐다. 특히 개인정보 보호와 저작권 침해, 딥페이크 및 허위정보 확산, 학생평가, 교무업무 등 실제 교육 현장에서 부딪힐 수 있는 구체적인 사례를 중심으로 구성해 실용성을 극대화했다.
먼저 <충북형 AI 윤리 기준 설명 자료집>은 유네스코(UNESCO)와 경제협력개발기구(OECD), 교육부 등 국내외 주요 기관의 AI 윤리 원칙을 면밀히 분석한 결과물이다. 여기에 교원과 학생, 학부모 등 총 2,286명을 대상으로 진행한 설문조사 결과를 적극 반영해 충북 교육에 특화된 윤리 기준을 세웠다. 자료집은 프라이버시 보호, 안전성·보안, 위험 예방 및 대응 체계, 비편향성, AI 리터러시, 지속가능성 등 총 12가지의 핵심 실천 가치를 체계적으로 담아냈다.

이외에도 AI 활용 시의 개인정보 보호 절차, 결과물의 저작권 문제 처리, 딥페이크 악용에 대한 대응책은 물론, AI 기반 학습지원 소프트웨어를 사용할 때 필요한 학부모 동의 절차와 대체 학습 활동 마련 등 학교가 취해야 할 구체적인 행정 절차까지 꼼꼼하게 안내한다.
김영순 충북교육청 창의특수교육과장은 “인공지능은 학생 맞춤형 교육과 교실 혁신을 이끌어갈 훌륭한 도구이지만, 반드시 인간 중심의 윤리와 책임감이 전제되어야 한다”라며 “이번에 보급된 자료집과 가이드라인이 교육공동체 모두가 안심하고 신뢰할 수 있는 건전한 AI 활용 문화를 정착시키는 실질적인 나침반이 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
