AI 국민비서는 별도의 전용 애플리케이션을 설치할 필요 없이, 국민들이 평소 자주 사용하는 민간 플랫폼을 통해 대화하듯 공공서비스를 제공받는 서비스다. 이를 통해 주민등록 등·초본 등 전자증명서 발급 및 제출, 공공자원 예약 등 100여 종에 달하는 다양한 공공서비스를 간편하게 처리할 수 있다.
