이번 추가 모집은 1차 모집 기간 중 서류 준비에 어려움을 겪었던 예비 창업자들의 요청과 일정상 지원이 불가능했던 대학생 및 청년들의 지속적인 문의를 적극적으로 반영한 결과다. 도는 이번 추가 모집을 통해 청년들의 창업 참여 기회를 확대하고 지역 창업 저변을 더욱 넓힐 수 있을 것으로 기대하고 있다.
‘전남형 청년창업사관학교’에 최종 선발된 입교생에게는 최대 2,400만 원(매월 100만 원, 최대 2년)의 창업기술 사업화 자금이 지원된다. 이와 함께 기업 맞춤형 1대 1 멘토링을 비롯해 경영·회계·법률·투자유치 등 분야별 전문가 코칭 프로그램이 주기적으로 제공된다.
또한, 전남도 내 16개 대학 및 출연기관의 창업·보육 공간을 중심으로 시제품 제작, 특허·상표·디자인 등 지식재산(IP) 인증, 비즈니스모델(BM) 컨설팅 등 기술창업 아이템의 사업화 촉진을 위한 다양한 연계 프로그램도 함께 지원할 방침이다.
