이날 김 지사는 오는 3월 27일 전국 시행을 앞둔 노인통합돌봄 제도와 관련해 충주시 관계자 및 노인회 임원 등 10여 명과 간담회를 갖고, 지역 준비 상황과 추진 과정에서의 애로·건의사항 등을 청취했다.
이어 달천동 생활SOC 복합시설을 찾아 북카페와 실내스포츠실 등 운영 현황을 점검하고, 달래강협동조합 관계자들과 도시재생사업의 성과와 향후 과제에 대해 논의했다.
또한 명절을 맞아 서민물가 안정과 민생 현장을 점검하기 위해 충주 무학시장과 자유시장을 방문하고, 전통시장 상인회 임원들과 간담회를 열어 현장의 애로사항을 청취했다.
이후 건지노을숲 조성사업 현장을 찾아 사업 현황을 보고받고 시설을 점검했으며, 충주시 관광산업 발전방안 마련을 위해 관광 분야 관계자 10여 명과 간담회를 갖고 다양한 의견을 나눴다.
