대전 유성구가 1월 23일 대전 팁스타운에서 스타트업과의 소통을 확대하기 위해 ‘어궁 스타트업 커피챗’을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 스타트업을 포함한 창업가들이 정보를 공유하고 커뮤니티를 확장할 수 있도록 돕기 위해 유성구가 주관하는 캐주얼한 모임으로, 창업 생태계의 활성화를 목표로 하고 있다.
제1회 커피챗에는 정용래 유성구청장을 비롯해 ㈜심투리얼 전다형 대표, ㈜린솔 이효근 대표, 스케일업파트너스 이태규 대표, 대전 팁스타운 이재훈 부장 등 총 12명이 참석하여 경제위기 속 스타트업 활성화 방안을 모색하는 소통의 시간을 가졌다.
정 청장은 간담회에서 참석자들로부터 현장의 애로사항과 건의사항을 청취하고, 스타트업 대표들과 함께 어궁동(어은동, 궁동) 지역의 혁신 창업 생태계 발전 방안을 논의했다.
이어 2부에서는 대전 팁스타운 주관으로 스타트업의 투자 유치를 돕기 위한 오픈이노베이션 특강도 진행됐다.
정용래 유성구청장은 “어려운 상황 속에서도 지난해 말 대전투자금융이 출범했고, 오는 3월에는 궁동 스타트업파크 앵커건물이 개소를 앞두고 있어 어궁동 지역의 스타트업 투자 열기가 더욱 뜨거워질 것으로 기대된다”며, “앞으로 어궁동을 창업하기 좋은 곳, 창업 네트워크와 청년 문화가 활성화되는 곳으로 만들어 나가겠다”고 말했다.
이번 ‘어궁 스타트업 커피챗’은 유성구가 스타트업과의 소통을 강화하고, 창업 생태계를 더욱 발전시키기 위한 첫걸음으로 평가된다.
