브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 오너가 있는 대기업집단 총수 4명 중 1명은 경영에 참여하면서도 등기이사를 맡고 있지 않는 것으로 나타났다.
오너 친인척 가운데 등기임원을 겸직하는 이는 137명이고, 이 중 26명은 5곳 이상에 이름을 올리고 있었다.
14일 리더스인덱스에 따르면 자산규모 5조원 이상의 대기업집단 중 동일인이 자연인인 집단의 총수 및 친인척 경영 참여 현황과 등기임원 등재 여부를 조사한 결과, 2023년에는 82개 대기업집단 중 74곳의 총수 26명(35.1%)이 등기임원을 맡고 있지 않았으나, 2024년에는 그 비중이 25.6%(88개 대기업집단 중 78곳 20명)로 떨어졌다.
친인척들의 등기임원 등재 건도 다소 증가했다. 2023년에는 오너 친인척 294명이 등기임원이었으나, 신규 대기업집단 편입으로 전체 계열사가 795개에서 811개로 늘어나면서 2024년엔 그 수가 310명으로 16명 많아졌다. 재계 경영권 승계작업이 가속화된 영향으로 분석된다.
