(무안=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=전남도교육청이 지난 12일 광주 어반브룩에서 2024. 전남 학생인권 실태조사 최종 보고회를 갖고 학생인권 보호와 인권친화적 교육공동체 조성을 위한 실천의지를 다졌다.
전남도교육청은 지난 8월부터 총신대학교에 의뢰해 전남 학생인권 실태조사를 벌여왔으며, FGI(집단심층면접), 중간보고회 등 다양한 활동을 통해 조사 내용을 수정·보완한 뒤 이날 최종 보고서를 공개했다.
총신대 연구팀이 진행한 이번 조사는 전남 도내 학생, 학부모, 교사 등 1만 명을 대상으로 이뤄졌으며, 학생-학부모-교원 간의 의견 차이를 분석한 내용을 바탕으로 도출된 발전과제가 최종 보고서에 담겼다.
이 보고서는 학생인권 증진을 위한 발전과제로 ▲ 맞춤형 인권 교육을 통한 학생인권 인식 개선 ▲ 교육공동체 모두의 인권 증진 및 보호를 위한 정책·기구 보완 ▲ 학생-학부모-교사 간 상호 존중 및 지지 문화 조성 ▲ 디지털 시대를 고려한 학생인권 보호 및 관리체계 강화 등을 제시했다.
보고회에 참여한 위원은 “전남교육청의 다양한 의견제시와 FGI위원들이 제시한 내용을 수정·보완하여 최종 보고서를 작성했다. 이제 실태조사 결과를 바탕으로 제시된 발전과제에 대해 전라남도교육청이 성실하게 이행하는 노력이 필요하다.”고 밝혔다.
김호범 전남교육청 학생생활교육과장은 “짧은 기간 내에 이렇게 알찬 내용으로 전남 학생인권 실태조사를 마무리해준 연구팀에 감사하다.”며 “실태조사를 통해 제시된 내용에 대해 심도있게 고민하고, 전남 학생의 인권을 보호와 인권친화적 교육공동체 조성을 위해 더욱 노력하겠다.”고 말했다.
