(무안=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=전남도교육청이 지난 13일 제44회 전남도교육상시상식을 갖고 수상자로 선정된 5명에게 표창장과 부상을 수여했다.
전남도교육상은 ‘전남도교육감 표창 등에 관한 조례’에 따라 도민의사표가 되고 전남도 교육 발전 공적이 뚜렷한 사람에게 주는 상으로매년 5명 이내에서 수여하고 있다.
올해 수상자는 정경모 전 좌야초등학교 교장, 박선미 전 장성하이텍고등학교 교장, 우승희 영암군수, 한경호 전남도교육청교육연수원장, 박진수 행정과장이다.
정경모 교장은 공정하고 투명한 교원 인사제도 마련에 기여하고, 원격수업 콘텐츠를 개발 보급했다. 특히, 전남교과교육연구회 수업나눔을 이끌며 교육 현장의 변화를 주도하고 미래교육에 대응할 수 있는 기반과 교원들의 수업전문성 향상에 공헌했다.
박선미 교장은 전남영재교육의 기틀을 마련하고 전남농촌교육의 새로운 가능성과 모델을 제시했다. 무엇보다, ‘2024 대한민국 글로컬 미래교육박람회’를 진두지휘하며 성공시킴으로써 전남교육이 K-에듀시대를 열어가는 데 큰 역할을 했다.
우승희 영암군수는 지자체장으로서 교육에 대한 남다른 관심과 열정으로 교육청과 함께 지역 교육거버넌스를 구축하고 교육발전특구 시범지역 선정운영, 자율형 미래교육선도지구, 교육자치협력지구 추진 등 교육 자치 실현과 지역 정주형 인재 양성을 위한 교육생태계 만들어가고 있다.
한경호 원장은 탁월한 진학 실적으로 섬마을 학교의 변화를 이끌었으며, 교육 주체들과 소통하며 지역과 상생하는 학교교육을 실현했다. 특히, 교육연수원장으로서 ‘미래교육코칭센터’를 신설해 코칭 원리를 반영한 수업코칭 연수를 실현함으로써 전남 교직원들의 미래교육 역량 강화에 기여했다.
박진수 행정과장은 전국 최초 도시권 공립고등학교 통합을 추진하고, 제한적공동학구제 및 에듀버스 확대 시행 등으로 농산어촌 작은 학교 살리기에 크게 기여했다. 또한, 지역상생카드를 발급해 지역경제 활성화 정책을 추진하는 등 지역소멸 위기 극복과 전남교육의 지속가능 발전에 이바지했다.
이들 수상자 5명은 전남교육 발전 공로를 인정받아 전남도교육청 1층에 마련된 ‘명예의 전당’에 헌액됐다.
