(무안=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=전남도교육청은 지난 13일 목포대학교 남악캠퍼스 컨벤션홀에서 ‘2024 교육행정기관 정책 소통 포럼’을 열었다.
‘교육자치 강화에 따른 교육행정기관의 역할’을 주제로 한 이번 포럼에는 교육지원청, 직속기관, 학교지원센터 관계자 등 약 110명이 참여해 교육행정기관의 협력과 학교 지원 방안을 논의했다.
이번 포럼은 교육행정기관의 상시 협의 체계를 구축하고 지속 가능한 정책 관리 기반을 마련하기 위한 자리로, 교육 현장의 목소리를 정책에 반영해 학교 지원 역량을 강화하는 데 중점을 뒀다.
행사에서는 전남교육 5대 공약별 주요 정책을 담은 사진과 동영상을 전시해 참가자들에게 정책의 방향성과 성과를 알리고, 자유롭게 의견을 나눌 수 있는 기회를 제공했다.
이어진 정책 공유 세션에서는 교육행정기관의 자체평가 결과를 발표하고, 이를 바탕으로 정책 관리의 중요성을 논의했다. 모둠 토론에서는 주요 정책과 우수 사례를 공유하며 학교 현장의 지원 과제를 발굴했다. 마지막으로 진행된 ‘Talk To You’ 세션에서는 교육감과 참가자들이 자유롭게 소통하며 전남교육의 현주소를 탐색했다.
포럼에 참석한 한 교육지원청 관계자는 “학교 현장에서 느끼는 어려움을 공유하고, 실질적인 해결책을 함께 고민할 수 있어 유익했다.”고 소감을 밝혔다.
김대중 교육감은 “현장의 목소리를 귀 기울여 듣고 이를 정책에 반영하는 것이 전남교육의 핵심 과제”라며, “모두가 함께 만들어가는 전남교육의 밝은 미래를 기대한다”고 당부했다.
