(브레이크뉴스 광주·전남) 이학수 기자=광양만권경제자유구역청(광양경자청)은 지난 11일 일본 오사카를 방문하여 투자유치 활동을 펼쳤다고 밝혔다.
광양경자청 투자유치단은 일본의 대표적인 물류 기업인 ㈜아스토 나카모토(Asuto Nakamoto Co., Ltd.)와 한국의 김인호 ㈜대우로지스틱스 대표를 만나 광양만권경제자유구역 내 물류사업 추진을 위한 3자간 업무협약을 체결했다.
이번 업무협약은 양사가 광양만권경제자유구역에 부가가치 물류센터 등 물류 인프라 구축을 검토하고 이를 위한 협력을 약속하는 내용이다.
구충곤 광양경자청장은 업무협약식에서 “한일 대표 물류기업이 손을 잡은 뜻깊은 자리에 광양경자청이 함께 하게 된 것을 기쁘게 생각한다”며 “양사의 비즈니스에 광양경자청이 최선을 다해 돕겠다”고 약속했다.
이어 손호길 KOTRA 오사카 무역관장과 문병환 전남도 오사카 사무소장을 와 만나 광양만권경제자유구역의 산업 현황을 소개하는 간담회를 가졌다.
이 자리에서 현재 일본 경제의 엔저 상황과 일본 기업의 투자 동향에 대한 논의를 나누고 전남 지역으로의 투자기업 발굴에 노력해 줄 것을 당부했다.
이에 KOTRA는 적극 협조를 약속하였고 2025년 개최 예정인 오사카 엑스포 기간 중 GFEZ 홍보관 설치를 추진하기로 협의했다. 아울러 전남도 농수산물의 해외 수출방안에 대해 논의했다.
