양문술 부평세림병원장 “청소년 도박 근절 릴레이 동참”

(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 부평세림병원 양문술병원장은 11일 부평자원봉사센터 이병철소장의 지목을 받아 청소년 도박근절 릴레이 챌린지 캠페인에 동참하게 됐다.

요즘 청소년들이 게임이나 인터넷등을 통해서 너무 쉽게 불법도박을 접근할 수 있는 환경이 청소년 도박중독이라는 문제를 키우고 있다.

조치호경찰청장의 주도로 시작된 이 챌린지는 청소년들 사이에서 급속도로 번지고 있는 불법 사이버도박의 위험성과 중독성을 알리고, 확산을 차단하기 위해 시작됐다.

양문술병원장은 “친구들과의 어떤 경쟁심이나, 빨리 돈을 벌고자하는 욕구등이 불법도박에 빠져드는 원인이 될 수 있다. 불법 도박은 절대 이길 수가 없다. 결국 경제적인 어려움은 물론 정신적인 스트레스, 가족간의 신뢰와 학업 성취도 저하 등 다양한 방면에서 문제를 야기한다. 이젠 더 늦기전에 우리 모두가 함께 관심을 갖고 이 문제를 해결해 나가야 할 때이다“고 말하며 챌린지에 임했다.

양문술원장은 챌린지에 참여하게 될 다음 주자로 인천세종병원 박진식이사장, 부평고등학교 김정수교장, 부평세림병원교회 장기창목사를 지명했다.
