[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 2024 기후산업국제박람회가 '기후 기술로 열어가는 무탄소에너지 시대'를 주제로 4일 벡스코서 개막했다.
오는 6일까지 진행되는 이번 박람회는 '기후기술로 열어가는 무탄소에너지(CFE)시대(Ushering in a Carbon-Free Energy Era with Climate Technology)'를 주제로, 기후·에너지 분야 11개의 컨퍼런스, 5개 전시관 537개의 기업 전시, 55개의 부대행사로 운영된다. 또한, 30개 주한 대사관(대사 참석 16개국), 24개 국가 대표단, 10개 국제기구 등 50개 이상의 국가들이 참여한다.

한 총리는 "대한민국은 지난해 9월, 윤석열 대통령의 UN 총회 기조연설을 통해 ‘무탄소에너지 이니셔티브’를 국제사회에 제안했다"라며 "오는 10월에는 주요국의 공감대를 바탕으로 CFE 이행기준을 마련하기 위한 글로벌 작업반도 출발할 계획이다. IEA(국제에너지기구)와 함께 이번 박람회를 공동 개최하는 것을 시작으로 무탄소에너지의 글로벌 확산에 더욱 힘쓰겠다"고 강조했다.
